Everyone knows that flowers are a nice gift to send your girlfriend/significant other. Flowers are not reserved only for holidays or wedding anniversaries either. Flowers can be sent on many other occasions as well. Here are a few occasions when to get flowers:
1: Besides birthdays, wedding anniversaries or Valentine’s Day, flowers can be a very nice gesture to celebrate a promotion at work, or a small anniversary such as marking the first time you went out to dinner or the first time she called you “snookums”.
2: As a token of affection. Sometimes you don’t need a holiday or occasion to send flowers. Maybe you just wanted to show your partner that you care and that she is remembered and valued by you. It is a real nice way to say “I love you” and it makes that ‘regular’ day a little more special.
3: After an argument. It is a good way to get out of the ‘proverbial doghouse’ by giving your girlfriend/spouse flowers. The gesture may not guarantee forgiveness, but it will help ease the transition back into her good graces.
4: At work. Show your significant other and her co workers that she is valued and cared for. Have some flowers delivered to her at work but don’t send something too grand because the flowers might just get in the way and prevent work from going smoothly.
5: She wants them. The best time and the best reason to get your girlfriend or significant other flowers is if she wants them. Say the two of you are out shopping or just out for a walk and pass by a florist or someplace that sells flowers. She will either tell you she wants flowers or hint by saying “oh those are pretty”.
